“I thought I would be understood without words.”—
“Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree, you still believe it to be a beautiful place.”—
““You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them…In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night…You - only you - will have stars that can laugh.””—
“I love when people share things with me. When they tell me all about their day, even the boring stuff, or little stories about stuff that’s happened in their life, or what they’re studying, literally anything….I love when people tell me little details and small stuff they probably think is irrelevant or mundane. It’s just so cute and it makes me feel special and i love listening to people i care about.”

happy mental health awareness month!!
i’d just like to remind everyone that there are more mental illnesses than depression and anxiety but these are still very valid mental illnesses that are serious!
remember that people with:
- borderline personality disorder
- derealization
- depersonalization
- bipolar disorder
- ocd
- schizophrenia
- dermatillomania
- trichotillomania
- pocd
- eating disorders
- ptsd
- dissociative identity disorder
- any personality disorder
- psychosis
- phobias
are not “monsters” or “crazy” or “freaks” or people that you should be rude to just because they have a disorder that you are not familiar with or one that the media portrays to be dangerous!
(& btw adhd, autism, and tic disorders including tourettes syndrome are neurodevelopmental disorders– not mental illnesses)
and to everyone who has a mental illness or neurodevelopmental disorder, (no matter how obscure or common):
- i hope and pray that there will be many more days in the future or even today where you wake up and are able to function well and accomplish all the things or at least half the things you set out to do.
- i pray for the day that you accept yourself and don’t hide yourself or make yourself smaller so that you don’t seem “different.”
- i pray for the day where none of us have to hide our symptoms and are able to get the help we need because we all deserve to.
- i pray for the day where you realize that your mental illness may be apart of you and one of your features but it is not who you are. you are all the hobbies you love to do and the smiles you put on others’ faces and the clothes you choose to express yourself and all the vines you quote daily, but you are not your disorder.
- and a shout out to all those with neurodevelopmental disorders that have accepted their disorders and have come to realize that they are a part of their identity and are not something that can or should be fixed.
“
I admit,
I was afraid
to love.
Not just love,
but to love her.
For she was a stunning
mystery. She carried things
deep inside her that no one
has yet to understand,
and I,
I was afraid to fail,
like the others.
She was the ocean
and i was just a boy
who loved the waves
but was completely
terrified to
swim.

Tale of The Artist Who Photographs Beauties in Gowns Against Idyllic Backgrounds
Cappadocia, Turkey, Finolhu, Maldives, Poppies Field, Crimea, Louvre, Paris, France are few of the many scenic places where artist Kristina Makeeva has travelled to juxtapose elegant fashion against phenomenal architecture for her photographic compositions.
